Vickie L. Miller, 59, of Millvale passed away peacefully and went home to her Lord and Savior on
Wednesday, April 4, 2018. She was born in Greensburg, PA to Joyce (Taylor) Veronesi and the
late Charles W. Long. Vickie graduated from Plum High School in 1977 and continued her desires of learning
throughout her life. Animals, angels and psychology were life-long passions that she pursued.
She also enjoyed reminiscing past memories, spending time with loved ones and eagerly looked
forward to the arrival of her first grandchild. In addition to her mother, Vickie will be survived and will be forever remembered by her son Maurice (m. Kelsey) Miller of Lancaster and by her brothers and sisters Denea Edgar of Plum, Charles Long of Thousand Oaks, CA, Lori (m. Joseph) Allegretto of Gillette, WY, Kimberly Veronesi of Hollidaysburg and David Veronesi of Gibsonia. Vickie will also be remembered by
her nieces, Danielle (m. Joe) Lobo of Monroe, NC and Katie Allegretto of Pittsburgh; nephews,
Terrance Edgar of Plum, David Veronesi of Hollidaysburg and Dominic Allegretto of Gillette, WY;
Caretaker and dear friend Kay Bey of Swissvale along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 21, at 3:30 p.m., at Providence
Presbyterian Church – 2401 Broad Avenue Altoona, PA 16601. The Family will greet guests
